Eva Moring was born 1862 in New York City. She married Dr. Arno Behr, a world renown chemist who came from Prussia to NYC. They made their home in Pasadena, California.

Eva's father, Augustine, came to NYC from North Carolina. He became a police officer and married Mary Braynard. The Braynard had moved to NYC from Massachusetts after the matriarch of the family died.

Widower, Mr. Selden Braynard, and family were in NYC by 1860. There his daughter, Mary, her husband, Augustine Moring and her other siblings lived together. Please visit the family tree to learn more.
