Hannah Lane was born on the eighteenth of April in the year seventeen hundred and ninety-six. She married Mr. Selden Braynard. Their daughter, Mary married Augustine Moring in New York City. Augustine and Mary Moring are the parents of Eva Moring, born in November of 1862. Eva Moring became the wife of Dr. Arno Behr of Prussia. They led long and productive lives. Arno was a world renown chemist and inventor. After living briefly in Chicago and Davenport Iowa, they made their home in Pasadena, California.

The following tells us a bit about Eva's maternal grandparents, the Lane Family.
